WPP and BigCommerce collaborate to improve global e-commerce services
WPP and BigCommerce, the leading open SaaS e-commerce platform for fast-growing and established B2C and B2B brands, today announced a new strategic partnership providing omnichannel solutions to help WPP clients drive growth and maximize sales across hundreds of channels and ad markets. This innovative partnership will give WPP priority access to new product tools on BigCommerce and feed management platform Feedonomics, in addition to providing APIs and datasets that enable resellers WPP develops unique information for customers about products, trends and purchasing data.
This partnership reflects WPP’s continued investment in providing commercial services to its customers. It includes a joint commitment from BigCommerce and WPP to help joint customers build scalable and agile commerce solutions, and follows the announcement that WPP agent Wunderman Thompson has joined the Alliance. MACH, of which BigCommerce is the initial member.
As big commerce’s premier data partner, WPP will receive priority access to alpha and beta products as well as platform integrations including Amazon, Meta, Google, and TikTok. These tools will enable teams to maximize omnichannel sales and optimize spend for B2C and B2B customers.
WPP will help shape product development and innovation at BigCommerce with commerce experts joining product and partner panels, in addition to gaining access to customized training and roadmaps certification. As part of the partnership, WPP will commit to developing 150 commerce professionals within the first year of its partnership with BigCommerce.
