Neighbor and QuikStor Partner to Connect More Operators with a Direct Path to Online Renters

New partnership connects QuikStor’s operator network with renters on Neighbor’s marketplace, allowing operators to grow move-ins.

Neighbor, the largest marketplace for storage and parking, and QuikStor, an operator-built management software platform for the self-storage industry, announced a new partnership. Through the integration, QuikStor customers can seamlessly list available storage units on Neighbor and receive new renters.

“Our customers are operators who want a straightforward way to grow occupancy and increase revenue,” said Andre Hadzi-Pavlovic, Chief Innovation Officer for QuikStor. “Neighbor makes that possible. Operators can list their units, reach renters who are actively searching for storage, and only pay when someone moves in. That’s the kind of partnership our operators have been asking for.”

Self storage is a $500 billion industry, yet the majority of its more than 50,000 facilities are owned and operated by independent businesses. As more renters search online for “storage unit near me,” many of these operators lack the dedicated digital marketing teams or distribution channels needed to consistently appear where those searchers begin. This partnership helps close that gap by connecting operators to the Neighbor marketplace to grow their move-ins.

QuikStor has served the self-storage industry since 1987 and is owned and operated by facility owners who understand the day-to-day challenges of filling units and growing occupancy. That hands-on perspective shapes how QuikStor evaluates every partnership, prioritizing tools that deliver measurable results and fit naturally into existing operations.

How It Works

Through a native API integration, QuikStor customers publish any available inventory—standard self-storage units, climate-controlled spaces, drive-up units, and vehicle storage—directly to Neighbor’s marketplace. Renters discover the facility on Neighbor, and customer information syncs back into QuikStor with full attribution. Operators keep control of pricing, billing, and lease terms.

“QuikStor was built by operators, for operators, and they know the gaps and frustrations that facility owners deal with every day,” said Joseph Woodbury, CEO of Neighbor. “This partnership is rooted in that shared understanding. Together, we’re making it easier for facilities to connect with the renters who need them, without adding complexity to how they run their business.”
